Now I’m gonna talk about a famous bridge in New York which I'm very sure that you all know about, which is the Brooklyn Bridge. So this bridge connects two different parts of New York which are Brooklyn and Manhattan. Manhattan will be where tourists will spend most of their time in while Brooklyn is known with their.. idk maybe rap? like Jay-Z and its unique style which if I were to describe, I don’t know how. What I know is I wouldn’t walk alone in Brooklyn at night. To describe more on both related to fashion, I think Manhattan is more about smart, formal plus a little casual while Brooklyn is more like a street wear vibe. I hope I describe them enough. However these two places actually do complement each other as Manhattan is where all the jobs opportunities are at and Brooklyn is where people are living for those jobs as Manhattan is too expensive.

So before going to this bridge, I will recommend everyone to start with DUMBO if they are living in Brooklyn for their Airbnb or whatever because they are kinda one way too, as you will meet DUMBO first before the bridge. After you take pictures at DUMBO, walk on the same street but away from the Manhattan Bridge (blue bridge) until you find a sign showing stairs to go up to Brooklyn Bridge. It will be about 3 or 4 blocks away if I’m not mistaken. Go up the stairs and you will be on the bridge. This way, you don’t have to walk from the very end of the bridge and you can  save your energy a bit. From the stairs spot, it will take about approximately 20 to 25 mins to walk across the bridge to Manhattan. But if you start from the very end of the bridge in Brooklyn, maybe it will take 35 to 40 minutes of walking to get to the end.

At the end of the bridge at Manhattan side, there will be people selling cheap souvenirs like a fridge magnets, keychain and posters, so don’t forget to bring your cash. Yeah cash, they don’t accept cards.

It's a week before classes started and I don't know how I am feeling. Certainly it’s not sad, it’s not so happy either, I don’t know. Maybe I am glad that the break is over and I finally have something to do. I think I will prefer to work rather than doing nothing at home like I did during the past few weeks and I feel so unhealthy and definitely not efficient at all. But my school only open the lab during school days.. so when there’s no students, it means no job for me..  what can I do. For those who are wondering, I am working as a laser cut lab monitor in school and I got pretty decent amount of money every two weeks.
Since I am living in New York, I got $15 per hour, and that’s the minimum wage here. So if I'm working 12 hrs per week, I can get about $700 per month. That’s enough to add to my monthly allowance so far.

Hello, let's start with the closest attraction to my house. It is called DUMBO. Can anyone guess what  DUMBO stands for? haha it's quite silly but DUMBO is Down Under Manhattan Bridge Overpass.
Actually, people mostly don’t know what this place is called same goes to my friends, they were like  "what is the place in between building where you can see the bridge behind tu". Well now friends, ask no more. It's Dumbo.

So how to get to DUMBO? this is actually a bit tricky, actually not so tricky but having the exact view I have in the picture above could be quite confusing. So what you need to do is set up the location in your maps or google maps at 39-21 Washington St, Brooklyn, NY 11202 and it will lead you to the beautiful view behind me. Thanks me later

Take pictures as many as you want and as quick as you can also because this spot is gonna be in the middle of the street. Yeah, in the middle. They don’t close the street even though there are a lot of people so you need to be careful and always watch for cars when taking your pictures okie.

I have been here so many times, probably more than 10 times because I always follow my friends when they came here and I had a studio project for one of the buildings in this street also. So yeah, I am quite familiar.

Also this is a great spot for pre-wedding pictures. I saw couples taking their pre wed photos every time. Just to let you know, it’s a good spot for photos. If I were to rate this place, I will put 6/10 😊

The next post will be about Brooklyn Bridge. Wait okay. 😊

It’s already 2020 and I am still on my break. I am so bored and I have nothing to do everyday :( I kept on disturbing Nini many times a day and I think I should stop.

I had two of my friends, Aisyah and Amalin with me until this morning and they actually just left 10 mins ago. Now I am lonely again huh..

Soooooo since I have so much time, I think I want to do reviews of all the places that I have been in New York so that anyone who wants to come here can have a little idea on how the place will be like. Stay tuned guys.

Also, If you guys want me to review places here, I can also do that and maybe I can go there if they’re somewhere haven’t been to. Just comment down below and I will do a special post for each place 💞

Thank you for reading!
